Retro 70s Geometric Squares Pattern

This fun retro pattern features bold hand drawn square and rectangle motifs with rounded corners, and a subtle linen texture overlay. I made it for Spoonflower’s 1970s challenge last summer, and entered the yellow, orange and brown version.

I quite enjoy seventies-style designs, although I wouldn’t put them in my own house. I’m just about old enough to remember seeing them as a kid, so maybe that’s why I like them.

I also made this one in a couple of monochromatic colour variations, in muted blues and greens:

Although originally designed for wallpaper, this pattern is also available on fabric and on homewares likes throw pillows, curtains etc in my Spoonflower shop.
