Buffalo checks are a popular classic pattern, and this version is hand-drawn in Procreate with a gouache brush, giving it a loose, organic look. I originally made this about five or six years ago, but that version wasn’t a seamless repeat. Now I’ve updated it to be seamless so I can add it to my Spoonflower store, and have made a bunch of new colour variations in addition to the original green and red.

This geometric check pattern gives a cosy feel to any room, and is a great choice for the autumn and winter seasons. It’s available on fabric, wallpaper and home decor items like bedding and throw pillows from Spoonflower, where you can see it in my Squares & Checks collection.
