This pattern is another of my Spoonflower design contest entries. It was made for a paisley contest last year – I can’t remember the name, but the theme was paisley with some kind of twist, so I opted for a non-traditional diamond mandala layout in block print style. My original plan was to do a kawaii paisley design, which I’d still like to try at some point, but I ended up pushed for time so decided to go with something relatively quick and easy to make.
Paisley Floral Mandala Block Print Pattern – Blue
The pattern has a simple floral paisley motif, mirrored in a four quadrant diamond layout, with some added texture. I later ended up making some more monochromatic colour variations:
